CAROL LINDA KNOPF has been dancing her whole life. Her performing credits include New York Chamber Ballet, Peridance, Battery Dance Company, Balinese American Dance Theatre ( BALAM ), North Star Ballet of Alaska, Red Bank Ballet, Flamenco Victorio, Marķa Elena Anaya's Fuego Flamenco and Odyssey Dance Company. Ms. Knopf produces her own choreography, a synthesis of many dance styles with an emphasis on expressive movement. She has shown her own work both as a Solo Dance Artist and through her company, Poemdance, performing in France at the Festival D'Avignon and in NYC at Saint Mark's Church and "To the Pointe" dance showcase. NYC photographer, Allan Hasty, photographed Ms. Knopf Mummy Dancing and displayed these photos at exhibits worldwide. A recent addition to Ms. Knopf's dance life has been Aerial Dance, which she performed this summer at The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in a Techno Tarantella production called Spider Dance. After graduating Valedictorian of Hunter College she is now completing her MFA in Dance at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She has just finished her full Pilates Certification and currently studies Escuela Bolera with Jerane Michel.
